Anaesthetic Fees

Most patients who chose to have an operation done privately pay for it themselves or through their medical insurance.

Insured

As individual policies and circumstances often vary, a discussion with your insurance companies regarding the nature of the reimbursement is always advised.

Sometimes an operation may involve more than one procedure. In these cases, a percentage of the fees payable for the main procedure may be charged in line with the insurer’s recommendation. This could be also applicable for some regional blocks intended for post-operative pain relief.

We have provided links to some of the commonly used Medical Insurance companies. Please click on link of your insurance company. You will need to enter a procedure code which will be provided to you by your surgeon. This will display the Anaesthetic fees recommended by your insurer.

Some practices may charge you a shortfall, which is the difference between the fee they charge and the amount recommended by your insurers. We do not charge any shortfall.

If your insurance company is not listed or you do not know your operation code, please go to Contact Us and submit an online question. We will try to provide an answer within 5 working days.
