Dr Karl Blenk MD, MRCS, FRCA, FFICM, EDIC

I attended Kiel Medical School in Germany. My anaesthetic training was in the Eastern Deanery and Australia. I joined the James Paget University Hospital as a Consultant in March 2008. While fully ICU accredited, my special interests are emergency anaesthesia and Orthopaedics.

In my spare time I like to participate in offshore sailing and sea kayaking.

Dr Dan Broad MB ChB, FRCA

I qualified from Liverpool Medical School in 1999 and was an Anaesthetic trainee at Merseyside. In April 2011 I joined the James Paget University Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist. My interests are Major Breast Surgery, Orthopaedics & Trauma, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Regional Anaesthesia.

My interests outside of work include playing and producing music, and wildlife photography.

Dr Rajesh Dumpala MBBS, DA, FRCA

Although experienced in all areas of anaesthesia, I have a sub-speciality interest in obstetric anaesthesia; major orthopaedic surgery; urology; ENT and general surgery. I underwent anaesthetic training in the eastern deanery and rotated between Cambridge and Norwich before becoming a consultant in 2010.

Interests outside medicine: Besides dedicating my free time for my lovely daughter, I love travelling, skiing, cricket, swimming, badminton and cooking.

Dr Ajaiya Mull FFARCSI, Facharzt Anästhesiologie (Germany)

I was mainly educated in Germany and graduated from the Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University (Medical Faculty), Frankfurt/Main in April 1990. I trained in Anaesthetics in England (South-coast) and Germany, and qualified in 1998 (Facharzt Anästhesiologie) and F.F.A.R.C.S.I. (1999). In February 2006, I joined the James Paget University Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist. I have been able to maintain my skills for all major surgical specialities, due to a variable job-plan.

I enjoy sports, especially swimming, tennis, squash and skiing in the winter. Some time ago I took up golf, although my handicap remains off the scale

Dr Pushpa L. Nathan MBBS, MD (Anaes), FRCA

During my years as an anaesthetic trainee in Malaysia and the United Kingdom, I have trained in the field of anaesthesia and intensive care and completed sub-speciality training in paediatric anaesthesia. I specialise in areas of Ambulatory anaesthesia, Difficult airway, paediatric anaesthesia and Anaesthesia for Orthopaedic, General, ENT and Gynaecological surgeries. My passion for teaching has led me to take up the post of RCA tutor at the James Paget Hospital.

Outside of my professional life, I take pleasure to be the "Best Mummy" to my adorable daughter. My hobbies include relaxing countryside walks with my dog, exploring the world of classical music and cuisine, gardening and kayaking.
